Adore Me Bikini

Hey there,

About a month ago Dylana from Color Me Nana contacted me about doing another collaboration with Adore Me, a New York based lingerie company that offers affordable lingerie sets, swimwear, and corsets for $39.95-$59.99. Along with their affordable prices, they offer styles for all body types! I LOVED my Athena lingerie set I wore in my last Adore Me blog post and couldn't be more thrilled when they wanted to send me this stunning Jamie bikini. I was drawn to the bandeau top and electric lime green also tends to sort of appear as a neon seafoam color in different light. The bust has this dazzling brooch that glistens in the sunlight. I'm elated I've finally had a chance to wear this bikini after a month of fruitlessly anticipating sunshine and temperate weather back home. Adore Me has so many more amazing swimsuit styles and colors on their site, definitely check them out!

So today is my last full day in Florida and I'll be leaving to go back to Pittsburgh tomorrow. This trip has been really refreshing/stressful/exciting/relaxing for me. I feel incredibly happy and grateful that I've been able to spend a lot of time with my relatives here in FL and share drinks, new experiences, and laughter. We went to a few clubs, had some beautiful days at the beach, ate the most delicious food, and visited the Dali Museum (coincidentally showcasing an Andy Warhol exhibit...hello again Pittsburgh). And thank you Uncle Paul and Uncle Chet for taking my photos throughout this trip! I've been away from Pennsylvania for 7 days but things back home managed to drastically change for me while I was on this vacation hahaa. But I'm looking forward to going home and figuring it all out while spending my last month there enjoying it with my friends and family.

That's all for now...I hope you all have a beautiful Saturday. Thanks for stopping by! And thank you again Adore Me for the swimsuit! I feel like a mermaid wearing it <3

Sunshine State

Greetings from Florida!

This is going to be a short post because I'm getting ready to go out and play in the sun. But I wanted to share  few photos with you all.

I arrived here on Friday and I'm having the best time! These photos are from this past Saturday. I went to an outdoor market in Tampa with my Uncles. The weather was perfect and we walked around outside for most of the day. The market was so much fun. We bought some fresh produce for our dinners this week and DELICIOUS popsicles. After the market we walked along the bay and then made our way to the Dali Museum. Afterwards we got the yummiest Thai food and walked down to Central Avenue to explore the vintage stores. I can't wait to post all the beautiful vintage pieces I bought!

I hope you're all having a beautiful week and soaking up some sunshine!
Thanks for checking in!

Spring Scalloped Shorts

Happy Tuesday!

A month ago I was contacted by Front Row Shop to do a collaboration. Front Row Shop is a global online fashion website affiliated with Shanghai Front Row e-Commerce Co., Ltd. The company has over 10 years of experience in fabric merchandising and clothes manufacturing. Their clothing is incredibly chic and structured and a lot of their pieces have really interesting/fun patterns. I couldn't resist these shorts with scallop hem. They're unlike anything I've ever worn before. These beauties are high-wasited and made of soft poly fabric. I love how versatile these shorts are....they can be flirty/girly paired with something like this lace top or you can make the look edgier by swapping the lace for black chiffon shirt or bustier top. I can't wait to wear these from spring into summer. The scallop hem and soft pink color reminds me of tulips which I think makes it the perfect piece for this beautiful warm weather, am I right?

I know I shouldn't wish away days...but Friday I am leaving for Florida!! I'm extremely thrilled to spend a week at the beach and to catch up with my family members. Can it please be the weekend now?? Oh and when I come back from my Florida trip I will have only one more month here in Pittsburgh and then I'm moving out to Long Beach, CA in July (!!!) I'm going to miss my family and friends more than anything else in the world, but sometimes it's good to dive in headfirst and have a new adventure. Do you have any exciting vacation/moving plans this summer?

Also if you haven't already noticed some design changes on the blog...I have a new logo! Thanks to Daniel Gurwin for designing this beautiful handlettering logotype for Feeling Magenta. What do you guys think? I looooove it!!! Take a look at Daniel's portfolio and sketchbook on his website.

Thanks for checking in! And thank you Remington Brooks and The Indigo Project for the beautiful photography in this post!! It's always a pleasure to work with your best friend.

Enchanting Orchid

Hey hey!
Happy Thursday lovelies. I'm actually really happy on this particular Thursday because it feels like SUMMER outside! I know it's hard to believe...but's seriously 80 degrees in Pittsburgh today!!! I'm so excited to start taking all of my crop tops, dresses, and shorts out of storage and start wearing them again. Dresses are definitely my go-to outfits when it's warm outside. What are your summer wardrobe staples?

I was sent this Enchanting Orchid Dress dress a couple weeks ago from For Elyse and I have to say it's my new favorite spring/summer dress. What immediately attracted me to it was the print. I am a sucker for anything with flowers. Then I realized it was backless (yay no bras!) and has a very long slit on the side. I love that I'm able to wear a maxi dress and not feel overheated in70-80 degree weather. The only thing I wish I could change about this dress is the length. I love maxi dresses but I have to wear 4 inch heels just to make sure I'm not going to destroy the hem. But nothing is perfect, right? Either way, I've accepted this flaw and I'm enjoying every minute in this dress. Thank you For Elyse!

This was another fun shoot with my friend and insanely talented photographer Katya McCoy! She coincidentally shot my last maxi dress post. Be sure to check out the rest of her photography, she's phenomenal. Thank you again Kat!

I hope you all spend most of your day outdoors and basking in the sunshine!
